- No Database Collection: We do not host, lease, or maintain database servers to log, harvest, or store the text blocks you type or paste into our editor.
- No Cloud Storage: Your text is never stored in any cloud repository or backup server owned by us.
- Volatile Memory Processing: All typed text resides strictly in the browser's volatile RAM. The moment you clear the editor, refresh the page, close the browser tab, or navigate away from easytypepro.com, your typed data is permanently and irreversibly destroyed from your device's memory.
2. Speech-to-Text & Voice Dictation Privacy
Easy Type Pro offers a built-in voice dictation service. When you click the microphone icon, the application requests access to your device's audio recording hardware (microphone). This process is governed by the following privacy rules:
We do not record, store, or save the audio waveforms from your microphone. The audio is captured temporarily by your web browser and processed via the built-in **Web Speech API**. Depending on your web browser and operating system (such as Chrome on Android/Windows or Safari on macOS/iOS), the audio packets are transcribed locally or sent to secure, automated transcription servers owned by your browser provider (e.g. Google or Apple) to be converted to text in real-time. This audio transmission is encrypted, automated, and strictly temporary. Once the voice engine translates the audio signals into written characters, the audio capture is instantly terminated, and no recording file is retained.
3. Browser Local Storage & Cache Policy
To provide a personalized, fast, and responsive user experience, Easy Type Pro utilizes local browser storage APIs (`localStorage` and `sessionStorage`). We utilize these technologies strictly for interface state preservation:
- User Interface Settings: We store your chosen theme preference (Light or Dark Mode), your selected editor font size (e.g., 18px), and your active transliteration language selection. This ensures that when you revisit our website, the editor loads instantly with your preferred configurations.
- Phonetic Suggestion Cache: To achieve 0ms rendering speeds, the transliteration engine maintains a volatile, local cache map of recently typed words and their corresponding native scripts. - Service Worker Cache Storage: To support PWA (Progressive Web App) app installation and instant load speeds, our service worker (`sw.js`) caches the static files of the website (HTML structures, CSS style files, JS engines, and logo images) in your browser's Cache Storage. This caching contains no personal user data.
